RECDTXE2.EXE

This is the same program, just with the ICR tracks: NAZERETH, MILWAUKEE, and INDY added. Apparently, the other ICR(2) tracks' RECORD.TXT files work correctly; if not please let me know...

Note: The info provided by the program can also be used in any of the "edited" tracks available on the net. Just use the "original" track name to find the record speed.

Also note: The mph shown on the game screen POSSIBLY might be off by a "one-thousandth" (the very last digit). For instance, Jeff Gordon's new track record at Indy WILL NOT show up as 176.419, but only as 176.418
Because of the limited decimal spaces of the "seconds" reference in the track.txt files, this speed CANNOT be displayed (If you can figure a way to do it, I'd REALLY like to know!).

This is a DOS program, but can easily be run from Windows 3.11. You can use
the icon supplied in the zip file for it.
Otherwise, simply run it from the DOS prompt, and it'll pretty much explain itself...
You will need to write down the "new seconds", and use a text editor to edit the RECORDS.TXT file(s) manually. As my programming abilities improve, I will be making updates to the program.
The advantage of running it from Windows, is that you could "cut & paste" the info from the program into the RECORDS.TXT file. You would simply start the program from the icon, hold down ALT and press ENTER (thus, "windowing" the program from DOS into Windows), enter in the required info to get the "new seconds", and then you would be able to "cut & paste". Don't forget to REMOVE the decimal point, though!
